Beltane Bed and Breakfast re-located to the edge of Coxley in 2014, Just 2 miles from Wells and 4 miles from Glastonbury, the property benefits from a quiet countryside location. With uninterrupted views across to the Mendip Hills and down to the Isle of Avalon our Boutique Bed and Breakfast is set in 4 acres of gardens and paddocks you will feel that you are miles from anywhere, but the A39 Wells Road is just moments away, providing easy access to all that Somerset has to offer.
Start your day with a freshly cooked English Breakfast or fresh fruit and yoghurts. We source as many of our ingredients locally as we can, utilising our local farmers markets. Eggs couldn’t be fresher as these come from our own free range hens.
All rooms have Digital T.V’s, Hospitality Tray, Hairdryers and Free Wifi and are comfortably furnished. Our Chilcote Room is particularly luxurious with French doors opening onto a balustrade, maximising the splendid views. The room also benefits from a comfortable Super King-size bed and both a slipper bath and separate shower. Our Dinder Room is a more cosy room with a King-size bed an en-suite shower room and countryside views to the Mendip Hills.
Wells and Glastonbury are home to many historic sites. The Iconic Hill of Glastonbury Tor with it’s tower overlook the Isle of Avalon can be seen from miles around .
Wells is a beautiful city full of historic buildings, in particular; Wells Cathedral, The Bishops Palace, noted for the location of the “wells” and Bishops Close.
Flanked on one side by the Mendip Hills and the other by the Somerset Levels, Somerset is full of surprises. Home too, to Cheddar Gorge and the famous Wookey Hole cave are more of the sites within easy reach of Beltane Bed and Breakfast.
